Entering it's second year on the MHRA event schedule, Augusta's Smoke on the Water Regatta is shaping up to be a marquis competition for outboard racers throughout the midwest.  Located on Eagle Lake within the Fort Custer State Recreation Area, it has all the amenties that MHRA and the racer could ask for.   More information...

With over 50 years of racing taking place on the St. Joseph River in Constantine, it's the crown jewel of the MHRA race calendar.  Constantine's Great Lakes Challenge represents the best competition to be found on the water each June.  Hosted annually by American Legion #223, The Great Lakes Challenge is a must attend event. The Wild Ones Regatta dates back some 25 years  and has hosted the biggest SO events outside of the Nationals.  It is viewed by many as THE race to win each year.  Located in the quaint village of Grass Lake, MI, The Wild Ones regatta is a MHRA race that is anticipated by both racers and residents.  More information...

The inaugural Mecosta County Regatta took place in 1970 as a way for then Bay City Outboard Club member and Ferris State University student Jim Fox to raise money for a his fraternity.  Almost 40 years later the race is still going strong largerly because of the layed back year-end feel.  Participants love the large course, beautiful park and potluck dinner.  More information...
